The Symons Recreation Complex Foundation is in place to provide a "margin of excellence" for the facility. Areas of interest include building improvements, equipment purchases, programming for the under-privileged, and providing unique opportunities for users. The foundation is organized for charitable purposes and is organized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All members of the public are welcome to attend meetings. The annual fundraising campaign begins in late November. All community members are asked to consider making a tax-deductible donation to the SRC Foundation. Each year, several key needs are identified which will addressed in the coming year provided funding goals are met. You may mail your tax-deductible donation to SRC Foundation, 1250 Highway 14 West, Richland Center, WI 53581. A receipt will be mailed to you.

History of the Symons Recreation Complex: John & Edith Symons donated the funds to build Symons Recreation Complex. Our doors opened in June 1987. The Complex is owned and operated by the County of Richland and City of Richland Center, and is partially supported by tax dollars. The Complex employs approximately 40 individuals who are supervised by a Director who in turn is supervised by the Natatorium Board. The foundation was created in 2004. |
